Yet another trips happens again! Another year and another adventure. This time with a French group and I was looking forward to it. The best part about these trips is you get to meet new people make some good friends!

So like every other time, I ensured to meet most of the riders in Chennai before we had our own flights to Delhi on the 13th of June 2019. Some of us flew together and another group landed for the shorter version of the ride in Leh directly.

In general the passes open around mid june and weather predominantly clears…

Day 0:

This was a well planned trip more so because of the wedding we were attending. Mangalore has long been a plan for a drive and visit the nearby places; however we wanted to do the same post monsoon to enjoy the beauty of the place. Since the wedding happened in May we decided we will just drive it down for a couple of days.

Started home at 04:15 AM on a Saturday morning. Since it was a new route we were driving to, we were not much aware of the traffic conditions of the route. We wanted to…

Every holiday to me is usually different and memorable however when I sit back and think there has always been one place that has been coming to my mind all the time (Rohtang Pass) and now I am sure there is one more added to it that would stay close to my heart. This trip to Thekkady and Gavi will stay forever due to various reasons.

Day 0: Left Chennai around 6:30 AM for a flight at 08:20 AM to Delhi. Reached Delhi at 11:00 AM. My first time experience at Delhi Airport was awesome especially that we landed at Terminal 3. It truly was to International Standards. I could not believe that it was India. We decided to take the Airport Metro Express to reach New Delhi station where we had a train to catch at 20:00 Hours.

The reach to the Metro station from the airport was wonderful and it was connected through a subway. Reached the station and boarded the metro to the…

I guess its high time I write about my road trip to Coonoor, Nemmara, Guruvayoor and back. Though it was not a well planned trip, but the break was badly needed and the moment we decided to hit the roads we were so excited about the whole drive, and started our planning in that little time we had. Had to check the road route, pack our bags, and get the vehicle checked for a long drive.

Till the moment we left home, there was something or other to do and I must mention here itself that the note that I…

I am gonna try and write as much as I remember of these trips as I am writing about the past. Wayanad has been memorable to me and here I am to share the trip with all.

As always this was a well planned trip and we had our tickets booked to Calicut and we had decided to take the public transport from there. So we boarded the train at Chennai Central and the next morning around 9ish we reached Calicut. Since we were very hungry we decided to eat something at the railway canteen before we proceeded with our…

Day 0: Destination Munnar. We had few choices of routes, however chose the route as follows:
Chennai — Thindivanam — Ulundurpet — Perambalur — Thuraiyur — Musiri — Karur — Aravakurichi — Dharapuram — Udumalpet — Chinnar — Marayoor — Munnar — Suryaneli (Club Mahindra)

Started from Chennai at 04:30 AM and reached Munnar around 04:00 PM with couple of breaks. Club Mahindra, Munnar is a beautiful property set amidst picturesque surroundings. After settling in, stepped out for a walk and enjoyed the drizzle.
Called it a day.

While June was a first experience for me to Ladakh, a dream destination, I was over the moon when it just happened again in a span of one month and this time with some more places combined. Once again I should be grateful to my business Date a Bike Motorcycle Rentals & Tours for yet another opportunity.

Must also thank some people (My friends) from the army for making things happen at Amritsar. Special mention to Col Zahl and his friend Col Shams who indeed arranged BSF personnel for our escort to the border.

Since I was traveling all the…
